Urikyo combines Guatemalan textiles with Japanese-inspired style.  The result is a comfortable shoe with a close-fitting body and the tongue at the heel, and surprising contrasts of colors and textures.  

• Extra-thick hand-loomed wool or hand-embroidered cotton tongue at the heel
• Soles are reclaimed car tires
• Ties in front or back
• Lined with silk brocade (as available) or colorful hand-loomed Mayan textiles
• Top front can be turned down to reveal lining
