Tipica Huarache Sandals

$45.00

Huaraches have an esteemed history as an original shoe of the Nahuatl-speaking Aztecs. Today these handmade shoes are woven of supple cow leather and traditional tipica fabric from the highlands of Guatemala, with a lightweight plastic foam sole.  Leather insole.

  • Handmade by an artisan from Chichicastenango, Guatemala
  • Cow leather straps woven with cotton tipica fabric
  • Lightweight
  • Comes in a variety of colors: Each is one-of-a kind and color combinations and patterns may vary slightly.
  • Size is forgiving: dip them in a bucket of water and wear them as they shrink to dryness, to conform to the size of your foot. Or let them naturally stretch over time for a looser fit.

To purchase these shoes, place them in your cart and check out directly from this page.
